Going Big in 2012
This year, in the interest of making it easier for us to produce more and better parchment, we decided to rearrange our facility, streamline our process, and add more capacity for stretching skins. And while this certainly gave us more room to work on several different orders at once, it also meant we needed more space to store what we have been making. So, while we now have the much-needed capacity that we have been lacking over the last few years, we also inadvertantly ran over-capacity to store everything. This May, we decided to hold our second Spring Sale to help with this unintended problem, which so far has been an overwhelming success. The Spring Sale may have to become an annual event, just to keep us from suffocating in our own skin.
