This July, we'll be stopping by two different trade shows in New England. The weekend of the 16th, we'll be in Machius, Maine, at the Paper and Book Intensive to give a demonstration on parchment making and offer some of our materials. And the following weekend of the 24th, we'll be in Easton, Massachusetts at the Odyssey Calligraphy Conference with parchment for sale. Anyone attending the shows is welcome to come talk to us.
We at Pergamena and Richard E. Meyer and Sons want to extend our deepest thanks to Mindy Dubansky for inviting us to show our wares at the Book Conservators of New York City meeting in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We'd also like to thank Yana van Dyke for her presentation on the conservation of palm-leaf manuscripts that we found immensely interesting, and all the participants who were able to attend the talk and our show-and-tell afterwards.
