Our leathers are tanned with a traditional vegetable tanning method using chestnut extract and are drum-dyed using aniline dyes giving rich and earthy colors, perfect for wallets, handbags, purses and more.

With a range of finishes available, our leather can suit every style from durable and rugged to refined to beautifully aged.

Soft and supple, vegetable tanned leather offers unique tactile qualities over other garment leathers that help elevate the look and feel of any design.

The range of colors in pastel, earth, and vibrant tones, allow our leather to offer a pop of color or present a classic look.  And whether you need to create a signature color for your label or want to offer the latest color trend, we can help.

Shoe Making

As a material, vegetable tanned leather has presented function, comfort, and style in footwear for centuries.  Our leathers still offer all of these qualities to modern designers and traditional craftspeople alike.

A variety of textures from natural and unique to classic and consistent can help designers make a bold statement or create a refined, classic look.

Ethical Promise

The hides we use for leather come from animals that have died naturally or been raised for food. All of our hides come from North America, with the majority from local farms and hunters. Vegetable tanned leather is a traditional and environmentally sound process, and we try to use natural and biodegradable dyes or pigments whenever possible. It takes approximately 60 days to produce while Chrome tanning (found in most modern tanneries) takes a few days and uses carcinogenic and earth harming chemicals.

Whether you are shopping for raw materials or custom designs, you can count on us for responsible production methods, as well as unrivaled quality.
