**All dyed versions of our 2oz Hudson leather have sold out. Please contact us if you would like to order a certain color and we may be able to add your skin to our next dye batch. Otherwise, you can order 50 s.f. of a color and we can run a load specifically for you.**

Feel: Thin, natural-grained leather. Starts stiffer, softens over time with handling and use.

Characteristics: medium pebbly grain and matte surface. 2nd quality skins will have more character, ie. healed scars or heavier grain.

Suited for: thinned down for finer applications like bookbinding and other finished goods that require sewing, folding, and skiving. Burnishes and tools amazingly

Details: There is no chemical coating or plastic finishing used. Our leathers are tanned using a chestnut vegetable tannage.

Specs: Our Hudson Line is split to a binding weight of 2 oz/ .8 mm.
