Characteristics: similar to goat in patterning, sheep parchment has a much finer grain and more characteristic markings, as well as a rounder, more pliable feel when handling.

Calligraphy: Sheep is preferred by many traditional artists and calligraphers for its even texture and antique look. Hand-sanded on both sides of the skin, perfect for use as pages in a book.
